The Capital City Hooligans are a competitive men’s roller derby team and not-for-profit charitable organization. CCH hosts family-friendly roller derby games (known as bouts), not only to showcase this exciting sport, but also to give back to the community. A portion of proceeds from bouts are donated to local charities. As we kick off our 2015 season, we are looking to build partnerships with businesses who can help us make our home games as successful as possible.
We are hosting 3 home bouts in Springfield on June 14, July 12, and August 2 at Skateland South.Roller Derby is one of the fastest growing sports ever, amassing a tight-knit community in the wake of its expansion. The Roller Derby community likes to support the businesses that sponsor their local leagues. Eighty‐two percent of all fans know the businesses that support their local roller derby league, and 95% hold a favorable opinion of these businesses.
Roller derby fans are young and middle-aged, with 48% age 34 or younger. And they have spending power. A third (33%) of fans have a household income of at least $75,000 per year. Over half (55%) have a household income over $50,000+ per year. Also, 86% of roller derby fans attended or graduated from college.
The Capital City Hooligans depend on the financial support of our sponsors, so we believe it is important to provide quality marketing opportunities. We have ready-made and build-your-own packages, or we can create something unique that is customized for your business.
By partnering with the Capital City Hooligans you would be marketing to an engaged audience, supporting local athletics for adults, and helping to give back to the community. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or have any questions, please contact us.
